Yann McCullough is an award-winning music editor, composer & arranger whose work spans over two decades across film, television and theatre.

Recent projects include music editing and arranging source music on the upcoming Animal Farm, directed by Andy Serkis with music by Heitor Pereira, John Crowley’s We Live in Time with music by Bryce Dessner, Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy directed by Michael Morris with a score by Dustin O’Halloran, and Sam Boyd’s Genie, with music by Dan Romer.

Yann's work has been an integral part of several award-winning projects, including Oscar, BAFTA, Golden Globe, Ivor Novello and Grammy-winning scores. A frequent collaborator with composers such as Rachel Portman, Arthur Sharpe and Alexandre Desplat, Yann’s other diverse music editing credits include Matilda, The Electrical Life of Louis Wain, The Hustle, Isle of Dogs (Yann also contributed additional score), Spectre (and additional source music), Brooklyn, Ex Machina, The Grand Budapest Hotel (and additional source arrangements), Never Let Me Go, The Duchess, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and Hugo, for which Yann won best Sound Editing at the Golden Reel Awards.

Yann also composed the original music for the Emmy Nominated Feature-Doc Art Of Political Murder for HBO and The Last Mountain for BBC / Universal. Film credits include Just Charlie and Tea+Cake, plus dozens of documentaries for the BBC (including Panorama), Channel 4 (including Unreported World), Five and Sky.

Arranging highlights include the opening title sequence for Netflix’s recent Joy based around “Here Comes The Sun”, and supporting director Gurinder Chadha’s Bruce Springsteen film Blinded By The Light, creating bespoke arrangements of the Boss’s hits to weave in and out of the featured source music. Beyond music editing and composing, Yann brings a wealth of experience in vocal comping and tuning, backing track production for pop and theatre and soundtrack album creation — contributing to projects including Evita, Love Never Dies.
